Market Notes
France and Europe are core markets, with selected sales in Japan and other international markets.

Alpine was founded in 1955 by French racer and Renault dealer Jean Rédélé. Using Renault mechanical components in lightweight, aerodynamic bodies, Alpine developed a distinct identity around agility and motorsport. The A110 became the marque’s defining car, achieving major international rally success and helping Alpine win the inaugural World Rally Championship for manufacturers in 1973. Renault later took control of the company, and original road-car production ended in the 1990s. The marque returned in the 2010s with a new A110 and has since expanded as Renault Group’s performance brand.
