Hillman

British automobile marque whose roots reach the early twentieth century. Hillman became one of the principal marques of the Rootes Group and was generally positioned around practical family cars. Models including the Minx, Imp, Hunter and Avenger became familiar in Britain and export markets. Corporate consolidation under Chrysler Europe eventually displaced the Hillman identity, but its long production history makes it an important independent Archive marque.
