Market Notes
Italian and European core market with significant historical and modern export presence, including North America.

Alfa Romeo was founded in Milan in 1910 as A.L.F.A., short for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili. After entrepreneur Nicola Romeo became involved, the Alfa Romeo name emerged. The marque developed an unusually close relationship between road cars and competition, producing everything from prewar grand prix machinery to postwar sports sedans, coupes and compact cars. Models such as the Giulietta, Giulia, Spider and various GTA derivatives helped establish Alfa Romeo’s reputation for expressive design and driver-focused engineering. Today the marque is part of Stellantis.
