Market Notes
Historically UK-built with an important customer and competition following in the United States.

Allard is a British performance marque created around the work of Sydney Allard, whose early specials combined lightweight British chassis with powerful engines. Production expanded after the Second World War with K, L, M and J-series cars, many using large American V8 engines. That Anglo-American formula made Allard particularly significant in the development of high-performance sports cars before the Cobra era. Original volume production faded during the 1950s, but the Allard name and family connection have survived through continuation and revival projects.
