American automobile marque introduced by Kaiser-Frazer after the Second World War and named for executive Joseph W. Frazer. Frazer cars shared much of their basic engineering with Kaiser models but were positioned higher in the company’s range with more upscale trim and appointments. The marque enjoyed strong early postwar demand but declined as established Detroit manufacturers introduced new designs, and Frazer production ended in the early 1950s.
