Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych – Polish passenger-car manufacturer established in Warsaw after the Second World War. Production began in 1951 with the Warszawa, derived from the Soviet GAZ-M20 Pobeda. FSO later produced the Polski Fiat 125p under license and introduced the Polonez in 1978, which remained a core product for decades. Ownership and partnerships changed after Poland’s economic transition, and large-scale vehicle production eventually ceased.
