French marque founded by racing driver Guy Ligier. Early Ligier road cars included the JS2 sports car, while the name later became internationally known through Formula One. After its conventional sports-car period, Ligier developed a major business in lightweight quadricycles and microcars, maintaining customer road-vehicle production in a very different segment. That continuity makes Ligier more than simply a racing constructor for Archive purposes.
