American-Italian specialist marque created by Bruce Qvale around a sports-car project originally developed with De Tomaso. The Qvale Mangusta used a Ford V8, distinctive folding roof and Italian production. Customer cars were sold in the early 2000s before the operation and design were acquired by MG Rover, making Qvale a brief but legitimate production marque.
