British marque with roots in bicycles and early motor vehicles that developed a strong reputation for sporting engineering and competition success. Riley produced distinctive saloons and sports cars before entering the Nuffield Organisation and later BMC, where it became one of several related marques. Riley disappeared from production in the late 1960s.
