Tatra

Czech marque descended from Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau, one of Central Europe’s pioneering vehicle manufacturers. Tatra became famous for unconventional engineering, including backbone chassis construction, air-cooled engines and streamlined rear-engined passenger cars. Although modern Tatra concentrates on heavy trucks, its historic passenger vehicles—from the T11 to the aerodynamic T77 and later T603 and T613—give the marque a major place in automotive history.
