Market Notes
Historically strongest in Italy and Europe; later distributed internationally through Fiat/Stellantis networks.

Abarth is an Italian performance marque founded in 1949 by Carlo Abarth and Guido Scagliarini. It built its reputation through racing, tuning equipment, exhaust systems and small-displacement competition cars, often transforming Fiat-based machinery into much more serious performers. The scorpion badge became closely associated with lightweight engineering and accessible performance. After decades intertwined with Fiat, Abarth now sits within Stellantis and continues the same basic idea: taking compact Italian cars and giving them a sharper, more performance-focused identity.
