The 850 TC transformed the Fiat 600 D into a more focused sporting saloon. Abarth enlarged and tuned the engine, revised the running gear and developed the car for competition as well as customer use. Its compact shape remained recognisably Fiat, while successive racing developments made the TC an enduring part of Abarth’s touring-car identity.
